Despite Broward and Dade Counties cultural differences, of which there are many, they both share a number of great dining options. Japanese-inflected food seems to rule the roost in both areas, as a continued “Bromance,” with sushi and omakase dinning, as The New York Times called it, continues.
Beautiful water views abound in the Lauderdale area, and there is a slight evolution with wine lists getting more diverse. The beachside dining scene can be somewhat more tranquil than Miami, which is a total plus for me.
