Java & Jam in Ft. Lauderdale is looking for an experienced candidate for Host position. We are searching for great people that want to be part of a strong team, make money, and contribute in a positive way. We are a high volume, A downtown experience for leisurely locals, caffeine-seekers, breakfast on-the-run goers, and business power lunch professionals alike. Full and Part-Time Positions are available.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in the hospitality and/or food service industry (e.g. restaurant, hotel, etc.)
• Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
• Fun and outgoing attitude!
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• May stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Weekend availability is required

What You’ll Do:

• Welcome guests with warmth, professionalism, and enthusiasm
• Create a memorable guest experience as the first person they meet
• Help keep a neat and organized restaurant
• Help the service team by getting tables ready for the next guests
• Communicate effectively with management and floor teams
• Uphold service standards and create a positive guest experience
